The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) is thrilled to announce the upcoming “Student Opportunities for HBCU/MI Webinar” on 30 November 2021 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. This webinar will give current and future students at underrepresented universities the chance to learn about the numerous scholarship and internship programs AFRL has to offer. The spectrum of programs includes opportunities for undergraduate through post-doctoral students to immerse themselves in a rewarding research experience which can help build a successful STEM career with the potential to gain an exciting position with AFRL.
Speakers at the webinar will include Dr. William Roach, Chief Scientist for the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, Ms. Ellen Robinson, Program Coordinator for the National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship and the Young Investigators Programs, Ms. Veronica Nelson, Executive Director of Advancing Minorities Interest in Engineering, Dr. Kimberly Jacoby Morris, Program Coordinator and mentor for the AFRL Scholars Program supported by AFOSR and others!
