Entering a New Frontier
You are invited to attend a meeting addressing the intersection of education and industry in the areas of aerospace, aviation, and advanced air mobility (AAM) in West Virginia. We are holding a half-day meeting to hear from education and industry leaders about current education and industry offerings and activities in aerospace, aviation, and AAM. We want your input in determining if we want to create partnerships to grow these areas. Lunch will be provided by Marshall University/Bill Noe Flight School.
Intended Outcomes
- To gain consensus that this is a valid market, and to create partnerships that advance aerospace, aviation, and AAM in West Virginia
- To create a public/private partnership in education and industry to grow aerospace, aviation, and AAM in West Virginia
- To create a roadmap of current offerings and gaps in offerings
- To determine what a state prepared for this new industry looks like, in terms of:
- Education
- Workforce
- Recruitment
- Identification of funding sources
